Our History

In 1992 an ambitious young man with a passion for technology excellence opened the doors of a new business, offering a unique model for IT Management. Without reselling product, and armed with a penchant for logical, tested solutions and a natural talent for analyzing and resolving complex issues, word of mouth spread quickly, providing the company with a solid list of loyal clients across a broad spectrum of fields and industries.

Reorganizing in 2000 under the name Empiric Solutions, Inc., and with an ever-growing talented team, the firm continued to mature, establishing a reputation for excellence and simplicity. Avoiding costly trends, ESI focused instead on building robust, reliable, and resilient networks that simply worked. With the opportunity to lead several significant community projects, ESI continued to distinguish itself through its collaborative approach, thoughtful design, and practical application of technology to create environments that allowed clients to focus on their ambitions and achieve their objectives.

With this foundational experience, ESI is also entrusted with the responsibility to design, build, and maintain some of the most critical public safety networks in the region. This has resulted in private/public partnerships with our 9-1-1 and local governments, servicing over 20% of Michigan Counties.

Now respected for its leadership, ESI continues to be passionate about serving all of its clients and utilizing its multi-industry experience to benefit each one.
